Description
Navelina Orange (Citrus sinensis ‘Navelina’)
The Navelina navel orange is a small, compact tree with a bushy growth habit. Like the Newhall, it’s another early-season navel with a slightly oblong fruit shape. The fruit is a little smaller than other navels, but still sweet, juicy and seedless. As it’s a smaller tree, it can live quite happily in pots just as well as in the ground. If you have other oranges in your yard, or are looking to plant a few varieties, consider the Navelina to go along with some later fruiting varieties so you’ll have oranges for a good few months.
For a tree that’ll stay even smaller, see our Dwarf Navelina Navel variety!
